Sacramento Kings 评分：B+
This transaction is a follow-up to the trades involving Fox joining the Spurs and Lavine replacing him in Sacramento. Both Sissoko and the second-round picks from Denver were acquired during this three-team deal. More importantly, trading Huerter to Chicago allowed the Kings to absorb Valanciunas' salary without worrying about luxury tax issues.
The decision not to utilize their cap flexibility for Tre Jones’ contract (who was sent to Chicago in Fox's trade) indicates that they value strengthening their frontcourt more than finding a traditional point guard replacement for Fox. With players like Lavine, Monk, DeRozan, and rookie Devin Carter on board, Sacramento has no shortage of ball handlers; however, they lack size off the bench.
The 2.11-meter tall Valanciunas weighs around 120 kilograms—his physical presence is unquestionable. Previously, Sacramento primarily used Trey Lyles (standing at 2.06 meters) as Sabonis' backup center despite him being more suited as a power forward himself.
Apart from better matching up against larger opponents with Valanciunas on board, interim head coach Doug Christie can afford Lyles more playing time at his natural position within the rotation.
I’m curious if Coach Christie will consider having both Sabonis and Valanciunas share court time together—a setup they've previously executed successfully while representing Lithuania at international competitions such as EuroBasket 2022 where they combined for an average of nearly 29 points and almost 18 rebounds per game during knockout rounds.

No surprises here: As we approached deadline day last year when he signed with Washington free agency became increasingly competitive again regarding potential deals surrounding Valenciuna’s availability . The Wizards took advantage , signing him into beneficial contractual terms before shipping out prior existing contracts towards playoff contenders . Although neither of these two future seconds picked hold tremendous intrinsic worth ; due partly because associated monetary implications tied directly alongside obtaining them - there remains $990 million left over transactions remaining possible under current guidelines established through exceptions created via aforementioned agreements made earlier thus allowing further depth additions later down line should need arise moving ahead
